2019 header image

Seasons Greetings. It’s 2019 header time as 2018 is about to finish. As a result, every clown starts to think about 2019. Subsequently, as I am want to do, I change headers each year.

I am on holidays now and I’ve thrown together some graphics options to use in 2019. Our graphics can all do with a bit of a refresh from time to time. Further, a change is as good as a holiday — or so they say.

Here are my options. Help me to decide because I think it’s a good way to engage with you.

Why #LNPfail and #AUSpol?

In 2019, we will go to the polls twice in New South Wales. In case you’re an international visitor, voting is compulsory in Australian Federal and State Government elections. Lucky us hey?

The Federal Abbott/Turnbull/Morrison Government must go to the polls before June 2019. Constant scandals and critical policy failures have coupled with foreign affairs brain farts melded with a slavish desire to boost big business at the expense of ordinary working people.

The New South Wales Berejiklian state Government goes to the polls in March 2019. Public transport blow outs, splurging on stadiums coupled with health and critical infrastructure brain farts melded with a slavish desire to boost big business at the expense of ordinary working people.

Neither have proven to be effective or useful in the half a decade they’ve been in Government.

Consequently, this means I can help to potentially kick two Liberal Governments to the kerb. Above all, I find the prospect of seeing an end to both these heinous Governments is a delicious prospect to say the least.

On the other hand, one or both of these atrocious Governments could be re-elected. Certainly, that would be a total disaster.

It’s decision time

Despite this gloomy prospect, it’s time for a change to my graphic. I’ve thrown a few designs together. The options for the next year’s change of clothes are all very similar. However, which header do you prefer?

Most importantly, you can have a vote if you like. I’ll keep the poll open between now and noon on 2 January 2019. Make your mark below.

To finish up, I’ll use the image with most votes as my 2019 header. Thanks for playing!

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
